A variation of the well-known idiom “As easy as falling off a log” is “As easy as riding a bicycle”. Everybody knows that once you have learned to ride a bicycle, it’s practically impossible to forget. Even if you haven’t ridden a bicycle for many years, the next time you try you soon realise that the treasured scratches on your knees, accumulated in your youth, somehow ensure that it is still no problem to find the equilibrium and stay upright... given you pedal, of course, because a bicycle can’t stand by itself, unless it has training wheels (like those on childrens’ bikes) or it is on a stand!
