T he concept and the idea of eternal return, or eternal recurrence, date back to thousand years ago. Maybe the stoic Greek philosophers were the first to conceive the philosophy and vision of a Cosmos whose very existence is difficult to explain for human beings, who fail to understand its profound meaning. Over the centuries, the idea of eternal return underwent several vicissitudes, with alternating periods of interest and others of total indifference.
