Since the beginning of Western philosophy, the sense, the meaning, and even the notion of time have been oscillating between the two opposites of objectivism and subjectivism. Accordingly, time has been viewed respectively as an entity to which the mind turns to explain its mystery or as a means of thought, by which the mind conceives individual reality.
