My interest for the contemporary dance originated soon after my transfer in France, to Grenoble, which took place at the beginning of 1968. Sometime after the Maison de la Culture which contained three theatres was inaugurated by the minister of culture Malraux. I found the cultural atmosphere very alive, stimulated by the ferments of ’68 and by the presence of young people coming from 130 countries attracted from the different research centers which were created and developed in that period in Grenoble, and from a dynamic University located among several sky slopes.
